Audio Mixer

Put background music under a voice, a podcast or any audio. Set the volumes, let the music go down when someone speaks and download the mix.

Your files are mixed in your browser. They are never uploaded to any server.

How to add background music to a voice

Choose your tracksChoose the main track (a voice, a podcast, the sound of a video) and the background music.
Set the volumesLower the music so it does not cover the voice. Around 20 to 30% is a good start. The waveform shows both: the music in grey and the main track in pink.
Lower the music when someone speaksWith this option on, the music goes down by itself while the voice is heard and comes back up in the pauses.
Listen and downloadPress Play mix to hear the result, then download it as MP3 or WAV.

The result is as long as the main track. If the music is shorter, it repeats or ends early, as you choose, and if it is longer it is cut at the end. If the mix would distort, the tool lowers the volume just enough to avoid it and tells you by how much. Use music you have the right to use: the free stock music on FiftySounds is a good place to start.
