How to make a click track

Set the tempoType the BPM or move the slider. The tempo of your song goes here: most DAWs show it on the screen.

Choose bars and beatsChoose how many beats are in a bar and how many bars you need. The line under the settings tells you how long the track will be.

Choose the soundPick a click, a wood block or a beep. The first beat of every bar is higher, and you can add clicks between the beats.

Listen and downloadPress Play to hear the first four bars, then download the full track as MP3 or WAV.

Import the file into your DAW or recorder and place it at the start of the project. Use WAV when the timing matters: MP3 files always add a tiny delay at the start. The track can be up to 10 minutes long. The clicks are generated by code in your browser, so no sound recordings are used.
